WHAT DOES BOUTIQUE ACCOMMODATION MEAN?
A More Personal Way to Stay
Unlike larger hotels or motels, Breakers offers an intimate boutique accommodation experience with just four beautifully appointed guest rooms.
Staying boutique means you'll enjoy peaceful surroundings, thoughtfully designed shared spaces, personalised hospitality and the opportunity to experience the West Coast at a slower pace.
We love sharing our local knowledge and helping guests discover the hidden gems that make this part of New Zealand so special.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Arriving At Breakers Boutique Accommodation
We offer complimentary off-street parking for all guests, with easy access to the accommodation.
Check-in: From 3.30-6pm
Check-out: By 10.00 am
If you think you'll be arriving after 6:00 pm, please give us a call. It lets us know you're travelling safely and helps us ensure everything is ready for a smooth, stress-free arrival. Whenever we can, we're also happy to accommodate special requests.

Finding Your Way Here
Breakers is located directly on the Great Coast Road (State Highway 6), just 14 kilometres north of Greymouth and 30 kilometres south of Punakaiki and the famous Pancake Rocks.
Perfectly positioned overlooking Nine Mile Beach, we're an ideal base for exploring the spectacular West Coast while enjoying a peaceful beachfront setting away from the bustle of town.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property via our Starlink satellite internet service.
While the connection is generally reliable, occasional interruptions can occur due to weather or satellite conditions.
Depending on where you are around the property, you may find some areas offer a stronger signal than others.
DISCONNECT & UNWIND
Mobile Phone Coverage
One of the unique things about staying at Breakers is the opportunity to truly switch off. There is currently no mobile phone reception at the property, with the nearest coverage available approximately 150 metres away at the Strongman Mine Memorial and Lookout.
If you need to make restaurant reservations, confirm tour bookings or contact someone during your stay, we're more than happy to assist using our landline.
Many modern smartphones also support Wi-Fi Calling, allowing you to make and receive calls over our internet connection if this feature is enabled with your mobile provider.
DINING AT BREAKERS
Breakfast & Evening Dining
Breakfast is included with every stay and is served each morning overlooking the Tasman Sea.
For dinner, Greymouth offers a wonderful range of cafés, restaurants and local favourites just a short drive away. If you'd prefer a quiet evening in, we can also arrange our homemade pizza option with 24 hours' advance notice.

PETS AT BREAKERS
The Kids Of Breakers
Breakers is home to our two much-loved family dogs, Ansel, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and Emma, an English Pointer. They are friendly, curious and enjoy exploring the property, often greeting guests along the way.
While Ansel and Emma live inside our home, they are not permitted in guest rooms or the guest lounge and breakfast area, helping us maintain a comfortable environment for all guests. You're very welcome to say hello and spend time with them outdoors, but we kindly ask that you don't encourage them into guest areas.
For their safety, our front gate remains closed until 3.00 pm each day.
